About Musicalverse

Welcome to Musicalverse, a blog that hopes to bring you news and information on musical theatre in London as well as around the UK.

My name is Jesse Owen and I have been interested in musical theatre for quite some time now, I love the fantastic music scores and the sets that make musical theatre so enjoyable and uplifting, I especially like the musicals where the tunes just stay with you for ages.

My Favourite Musical

I have to say my favourite musical to date (you could say i’m obsessed) is Wicked, if you’ve already had a look through this blog’s content that probally isn’t too hard to figure out (watch out for a review coming soon).  It was the first time i’d been to London (living in Bristol the train fare involved to coming across meant that I could only recently afford to).  All musicals I have seen before Wicked have been touring one’s – two that come to mind are Les Miserables and Mary Poppins both of which I saw at my local ‘West End’ theatre – the Bristol Hippodrome.
