Avenue Q Is On The Move AgainAvenue Q is on the move again to its third home in London’s West End when the current run finishes on the 13th March 2010.  The histerically funny musical will find a new home at the Wyndham’s Theatre.  Alongside the move many of the shows cast members are moving on, the show will welcome Paul Spicer, Jacqueline Tate and Delroy Atkinson to the scruffy street.

Paul Spicer will take over the role of Princeton / Rod from long running cast member, Daniel Boys.  Spicer is an established musical theatre performer and co-founder of the Notes From New York series.  His stage credits also include The Witches Of Eastwick, Fame and Taboo.

Jacqueline Tate will take on the role of one of Princeton’s neighbours, Christmas Eve.  Tate is currently appearing in The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre.

Former child star Gary Coleman will be played by the last (but not least) adition to the cast, Delroy Atkinson who returns to the part after leaving the show in June 2008.  Atkinson can currently be seen Jihad The Musical at the Jermyn Street theatre, his theatre credits also include he Enchanted Pig at the Young Vic, Rent at the Prince of Wales theatre and Come Dancing, The Harder They Come and Pinocchio at the Theatre Royal Stratford East.

The show originally opened at the Noel Coward Theatre in 2006, transferring to the Gielgud in 2009, it will now find a new home at the Wyndham’s Theatre from the 19th March 2010 where it is currently booking until September.
