The Lion King

The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre

Based on one of Disney’s hugely successful animated films, The Lion King is the story that follows the life of a young lion cub named Simba. When he was born he became next in line to the throne pushing Scar down to 2nd position. Not impressed with his new position Scar plots to kill Simba and his father.

Simba survives the plot but it led to believe that his father didb’t make it and so runs away and soon settles down to a carefree life. But back in the pride with no king the pride falls down into hard times and a hero is needed to get it back on its feet.

The score features many of the 1994 film’s very catchy songs, Can You Feel The Love Tonight and Circle of Life amongst several new songs.
