The Phantom Of The Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre
Phantom of the Opera is based on the 1911 gothic novel which takes a look at life behind the scenes at the Paris Opera house. It tells the romantic tale of a mysterious masked man whose presence casts a shadow over the opera house and its performers.
This masked man falls in love with one of the female performers, Christine Daaé from the chorus and uses his persuasive powers to get her the lead role and become the star of the show. However when she oversteps the mark the man goes from becoming friend to very frightening monster.
With a dark and romantic score Andrew Lloyd Webber creates a show you will never forget – songs include the never forgettable Phantom of the Opera, All I Ask of You and The Point of no Return.
