Mamma Mia! at the Prince of Wales Theatre

It opened 10 years ago in London and today it’s still going strong.Mamma Mia! takes the back catalogue of supergroup ABBA and turns it into a show that tells a heartwarming story where a young woman and her mother find themselves surrounded by events of the past on the eve of daughter’s wedding day.

In the past Donna (the mother) had a very active social life which resulted in her having a daughter. The problem is that her active social life involved 3 men – any of which could be the father of Sophie (the daughter). Now it’s Sophie’s wedding and she wants her Dad to give her away but she doesn’t know which one it is so she invites all 3 all behind Donna’s back. But which one is Sophie’s Dad and who will walk her down the aisle?

The musical features many of your favourtie ABBA classics including Does Your Mother Know? Dancing Queen, Super Trouper and the title track Mamma Mia.
