Introducing Patrina Miller (Deloris Van Cartier in Sister Act: The Musical)

After the producers of Sister Act: The Musical looked high and low in London, The States and more for the perfect person to play Deloris Van Cartier in the London Palladium production of Sister Act: The Musical Patrina Miller was selected. Read on to find out more about her and her career so far.

Patrina was born in the small American town of Pageland, South Carolina in 1984, she was raised in a very musical family and was brought up surrounded by a variety of different music – gospel, blues, rhythm and swing all played a part in her musical childhood.

At the age of 15 she auditioned and was accepted into a prestigious performing arts school and later took up a full scholarship at the Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburg, PA where she graduated with a degree in Musical Theatre.

Since graduating she has performed on the small screen in the popular US soap opera All My Children and gone back to her musical theatre roots by taking on the role of Dionne in the Central Park production of Hair.
