Last year you (the public) selected Jodie Prenger as Nancy and Andrew & Cameron selected the boys Gwion, Laurence and Harry to share the role of Oliver in the BBC One Reality programme ‘I’d Do Anything’. Now is your chance to see the cast that you partly helped select in Cameron Mackintosh’s production of Oliver! at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
Oliver! tells the well known classic story by Charles Dickins of a young orphan boy named Oliver as he travels through the dark undercurrent of the streets of London, pickpocketing and what young Oliver must do just in order to survive as he moves from place to place.
The musical score acompanying Oliver! features many memorable numbers that most will have heard before including Consider Yourself, Food Glorious Food, As Long As He Needs Me and It’s A Fine Life.
Directed by Laurence Oliver Award winner for Best Director 2008 for Macbeth, Rupert Goold, Oliver is in safe hands and you are ensured of a great night out.
